Okay guys, just a heads up that I STILL CAN’T FIND MY BOOKS. This is making me super upset, but tomorrow I’m going to try and do some more research using some of my online tools and answer the questions that are in my inbox. I’m really sorry that I’ve been so sucky at updating :( Going to repurchase my books hopefully by the end of February, wish me luck!

Kunzite-
Kunzite activates the sensitive heart vibrations and aligns it with the throat chakra and what is known as the ‘third eye’, the centre for objective vision. activating loving thoughts and communication, it helps in the expression of all forms of love. Kunzite can be used to remove negative energies and also protect against them. The stones energy encourages both maturity and innocence in the user. Its focus on internal balance helps the individual to remain calm in the midst of external chaos. During meditation it stimulates creativity and intuition. In healing it strengthens the heart muscles, deals with circulatory disorders and lung problems and helps in the management of stress.

crystal-garden:

Moldavite is a tektite, and a stone of intense frequency and high vibration. In ancient times it was thought to be a mystical stone that could bring good luck and fulfillment of wishes.
These natural green crystals are powerful stones for transformation… as it is thought to be the stone known as “The Holy Grail Stone.”
It is one of the best stones to use for psychic protection, as negative entities find it difficult to connect to your aura when you are wearing it.
Wearing this stone is an advantage when you are working with spirit… so you can be sure that what you are making contact with is of ‘the light’. One of its best assets is that it is a protective stone… and especially if you are working on developing psychic abilities. Using this stone in meditation is very powerful.
Change and spiritual healing are the common elements that this powerful natural crystal stimulates amongst most people, and this may take different forms. This beautiful green stone can affect any or all of the chakras but it major effect is on the heart chakra, which resonates the vibration of love.

QuestionHello!! Love your blog... it's very special and informative. (: I just recently got really into the idea of gem elixirs and I have been doing a lot of research on the minerals and crystals that are toxic and should not be used. I see a lot of conflicting information on the internet about the toxicity. For example, one site says that celestite and moldavite should not be used, but I have heard of both being used in elixirs, and have personally tried a celestite elixir before. (continued)... Answer

(2/2) Do you have a reliable source that you use to find out which are safe to use and which aren’t? Thanks soooooo much!! <3

Holy crap I’m sorry - I never saw this ask!! Now I feel horrible >.>

ANYWAY the source I use the most out of anything is the two Crystal Bible books by Judy Hall. They seem to have the most information and to me are the most reliable, but that’s not saying that other books aren’t. I’ve seen a lot of people who say that Scott Cunningham’s book about crystals is a really reliable source, too. I’d probably just be careful using stones that technically shouldn’t be used in an elixer unless it was put together by a trained professional, since they’d know the appropriate water/stone ratio to keep it from being poisonous.

Hope that helps!

Note: guys I am still without my crystal books, so I deeply apologize. I can’t seem to find them ANYWHERE and it’s really ticking me off because, obviously, I don’t feel comfortable putting anything together or answering stone-specific questions unless I can have a source or two behind my findings. So I just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for being patient with me and understanding that I’ve been pretty MIA for a while. Hopefully once I find them I’ll be back to doing lots of updates and keeping this blog going a little better than I have.

I’ve recently read Cunningham’s Encyclopedia of Crystal, Gem, and Metal, and here are shortened and simplified notes from the chapter “The Rainbow of Power”, that I’d like to share with you.
